Adding direct links to other websites?

How do I add a link to another website? I'm totally confused! I have a section for buying frogs online and have 5 sites that I want my guests to be able to access. So, I've typed in the links to the specific pages(http://growafrog.com/) etc, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything in build veiw or in browser... Is that just because my page isn't published yet? See, here that link has turned blue and is underlined... That hasn't happened on my page... Am I doing something wrong or is that normal???!

Hey!

If you want your link to be on plain font - highlight and click on the hyperlink icon. Type in the link and then select at the bottom _blank so it will open it in a new page. If you use a button to link, double click on it to edit the link.
