Adding video downloads to my site.

I am wanting to offer video downloads on my site, however some of the files are 80 to 90mb. These videos were captured using high quality hard drive digital video cameras. Does anyone know of any application I can use to compress these files without loosing too much quality.
    Thanks

What are you using as an authoring program? It should have compression choices in there. Maybe I should have asked first: Where are the videos coming from? Are you making them?

I author with Pinnacle Studio 10. This has all the compressions you would need. But then you need to learn the program first. About $100 at CompUSA.

Sorenson Squeeze and Spark are compression programs. Pricy at $299 on their website. But the best. 90 meg file down to 5 meg with no noticable difference.

Any other questions: WWW.e-webvideo.com e-mail button. I don't follow these threads very much.
