    SE friendly page length

Hi Phil.C (for the third time today, sorry)

Should I keep my page length to a certain length for SEs or doesn't it matter?? The width I have set is a standard 800.

Would it be better to have 2nd tier pages linking from a bottom of a page to the "Next Page"??

I know when you see some of them sales pages that seem to go on forever I tend to leave their sites.

    Thanks

    Re: SE friendly page length

"Next Page" is not good - but if you can find reasons for another page - having extra pages is a good thing - for visitors and se's - just find a title for them - like if you have specific articles - each can be on it's own page, etc - take a look at other sites doing similar to yours.

There is no magic "length" - but having to scroll more than a few times is probably asking too much unless it's really really interesting!

      Thanks Beth

I don't like long pages so I'll take your advice and create new ones with differant headings.

      Thanks again
