adding videos

hello,
I know how to add videos to my website, i want to have the video but not the sound or the play,pause and stop buttons. how do i do this?, i have seen it on another webiste built by someone here and i would like to do the same.

You can rip your video file into .swf flash format with this free program

to download you will have to register with ZDNET but its free and the program is FREEWARE
