Previewing in browser

Hi everyone
I need some help with previewing page in browser; each time I try to preview page in browser I get the error message ' unexpected file'. I know the problem lies in my browser; I have been in tools then options and preview; but I need to know what default browser needs to be there if I use IE. Hope that make sens

When you go into preview mode, bv opens your default browser, so this could be a problem with your copy of BV.
Try downloading a new copy of bluevoda.................

Hi Richard.. what version of IE are you using..??
Have you tried restoring your browser settings to default..?? that should be enough to let you preview.

Hi Carlos;

I used to be with Firefox then went back to IE; I think that may have started the problem. I'm using IE 7 but in the default box in BV there is nothing; I need to know what to enter in here

Ok.. whatever browser you are using, make sure it's set on default settings..
In BV, if you go to tools, then options, and click on the preview tab.. check the 'use default browser'... this should grey out the browser name field and BV will just whatever default browser you have.. lets try that.

Okay tried that and it was greyed out; tried to preview but got the usual message ' unexpected file format'

ok.. when you get that error message.. can you tell me if you get the message in an error box..?? what does it say on the top.. which program is giving you the error message..?? is it explorer or BV..?

At the top of the error message it says' AffiliSy' I think its BV error message

Indeed it is..

This message tells us that the file you are trying to open in preview mode is not recognised for that function by BV.. What the General said above is very accurate.. It's a problem with your BV.

Did you change your default browser before or after you reinstalled bv..??

Ok.. I know this may sound silly, but you'll be surprised with some of the things people forget to do.. Lets try this..

Shut down your BV.
Go to explorer... clear coockies (internet options>> general tab>>clear temp files and cookies... etc).
Open BV again.. open your page.. and try preview... do we still the error message..?
