linking pages

I am trying to build a sample site with bluevoda before I host it

all the files are saved as bvp

I will like to create some simple pages and link them to each other but in th hyperlink box I can not choose the bvp files

what is the solution to that

do I manually change all the pages to html extensions and will I still be able to work on them in blue voda
