I need help uploading files

Hello,

I have a zip file (with templates) on my desktop, that I am trying to upload to FTP. Could someone please explain in very simple terms how I do this.

When I tried to upload I received multiple pages of expired pages, and had to reboot to stop them.

The files don't have a http://
