hi! & happy monday. my name is blue, sometimes when I post a question and come back later and view an answer I'll post a quick reply to clarify the help (or even to say thanx) of course I would not expect the same person to still be online but how do do this without reposting the same question?

If you scroll under the message - you simply reply to it and click "post quick reply"- and it will post underneath. -

this is my point exactly. my query is not how to post a reply but rather to use quick reply to clarify the question or advice in cases where there is a misunderstandig of parts of the thread.

If you post a quick - like you just did in this thread - it does not repost a new thread - it simply adds the post to the string of posts in the thread - like it's supposed to do.
