Page sizes - what does it really mean

Hi, I'm a beginner at this but is ready with my first site www.snickis.se if youre intersted. I have a question on page sizes, especially page width's that you set in the property page of each page. I was recomended to use 800 as page witdh and I changed all my pages to that. How ever, each time I go into one page and change something, no matter what, and the check the properties, the page width has changed to, lets say 937. How does this work and what effect does it have to change the width. The apperence in the the browser doens't seem to change except that the page could be a little bit further to the left or right. Anyone that could educate me on this matter?

    Thanks
    Mats

    Mats,
Your page does look better know that you made the changes. Check for something that you have "sticking out" past the 800 mark. I saw a widthe at 813px.

You're welocme. Double check page width every time you add an image or text, then save and publish. For some reason page width is adjusted automatically.

Okay, hard work seems then to be the answer then (since I often forget it).

Certainly worth the effort. Your pages look good.
