    bookmarking a link

I am trying to link a page to another page but down on that page. It's my understanding that I have to "bookmark" the page position I want linked. Do I do this in the http: row in the insert hyperlink page window?

I asked this in a previous post but I never got my final answer so I posted this. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Scuba

I've never used this feature myself, but I believe you highlight the area you would like bookmarked, go to insert and there you will see the bookmark feature .... try that, if it doesn't work, come on back ....

On the BV toolbar click "Insert"
      The dropdown menu will appear
      Select "bookmark"
The book mark will appear on your page
Drag to the location you want
Make it smaller if you want
      Double click on it
      Name it
Your link to it will look like: i.e.
http://yoursite.com/yourpage.html#whatever ----the name you gave it
the # sign is important to include in the link. You do not use the # sign when you name the bookmark.

      Hope this helps.
