    HOw do i change page title already published??

    HI
    Can anyone please help ? I have decided to change from foto's to scanned in pic's on website, now the problem is although i cleared all the contents b4 hand i each time i try to publish it keeps bringing up original page !! WHY ? I must have been trying to publish these pages now almost 4 hrs - paitence wearing thin ! So is ther anyone out there who can give me any guidance ? Go on give us a clue PPleaseeeeeeeeee. All i want to do is delete orignal name and rename so i can pub all the stuff i have spent all day scanning !

    Karen,
    If you are publishing and not seeing the changes, click refresh on your browser - it's probably as simple as your browser is cacheing.

      Ok thanks will try that, it seems to be that Aol is quite lazy and just chucks back at you what you previously searched for ! Am i right in thinking that ?

        AOL is more than lazy, it's one of the worst programs you can install on your pc.

          Its driving me nuts ...!!!!!!!!!! I was going to put out there to see if anyone ellse has probs ! Its constantly crashing ! It goes off when you are doing stuff and then comes back on GGGGGGGGreat hey ! Its been worse since they were taken over ! So do you reccomend ? Its costing us a bomb calling techie's all the while. My hubby says its for the , is it kb or mb for downloading space ? thats the only reason we are with it !
          Still got probs with this page it still showing the same ! This website will be the death of me,ive had 14 hrs sleep this week !

            There is absolutely no good reason to run AOL on a pc. None. Some will tell you that they use it and they love it, but they don't see the harm it's doing to their machines.

              Hey again
              Can you reccomend a provider ? We need broadband, infact the whole package as we have broadband with the calls inc ! I only know about talk talk, but its not got those thingy's we need and of course our good ole BT (Hmm?) and thats all i know ! My hubby has to uninstall whole system and re-install every month - Aol doing this to us ?

                I'm not familiar with the options available in the UK, but if you open a thread related to this in the Lounge area, a few members are sure to have suggestions for you.

                  And I'll 2nd racefan regarding AOL - it also in a hog for your computer's memory - many programs will work better when you completely remove it from the computer.

                  Good luck!

                  As to cacheing - that will happen even when you switch, though - just remember to click refresh when you reopen your page after publishing if you haven't rebooted the computer lately.

                    each time i try to publish,its stops error message reads ' unresponsive prog' so click the x then end the and then click the x again and end the prog again, re- open BV and start again and the bout 4 out 5 times the blue screen comes up ! Thats norm every day and we must report stuff to micro 20 times daily if not more !! and now my mouse has broke ! (scream) LOL So this is down to Aol yea ? weve had this for 6 yrs and neva been happy with it ! going in that lounge sometime Thanks. Did you see that i still cant change the name - it was urban col and i remoed all fotos etc and uploaded- is it ? did all the bits i normally do and then publish ! but the whole page comes up like b4 with nothing new ??????? Oh god !

                      Ok, now lets see if i am getting this right or not please as i have been trying to do this since 11 ish last nite ! Ok, so what did was went into the page i wanted to use deleted all put more stuff on clickin save on every move ! Then previewed great yea all there, but when i then went to aol to check it out - not a hope it was the same page we put when we started ! Do i need to do any page linking ? I have tried to look for info to do that or any buttons on page LOL sorry ! I ambeginning to think now that maybe they should be linked first off. If i do anyl leads would be cool as i have nt

                        You say you kept saving it - but you don't say that you republished the page - and without publishing the changes, they won't show.
