I am currently looking at allowing another company to optimize my website and make changes to it because I simply don't have the expertise to optimize, nor the time to make many changes anymore. My question is, will I still be able to make changes to my website myself with the Bluevoda program?

Re: outside party website editing
Yes you will be able to make changes. All you would do is set up an FTP account for this user so that they can access only the files and folders allow. Give them there own password and username so they can access via the ftp account you've just created and there you go.
DO NOT GIVE OUT YOU OWN MAIN PASSWORD AND USERNAME FOR CPANEL AS YOU COULD LOSE ACCESS YOURSELF IF THEY THEN DECIDE TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD. ALWAYS CREATE A FTP ACCOUNT FOR THEMArcade Ninja - Free Flash Arcade

Re: outside party website editing
Wait a minute.
If they make changes as described above, those changes will NOT be on your BV pages. And if you then make changes on the BV pages and publish, you'll lose the changes THEY did.
You might be better off if you had them download BV and then send them the pages - when they complete them, they can send them back to you.
This will work better if you want to keep using BV to make changes to the site.

Re: outside party website editing
I seriously doubt they'd use BV to make the changes, they're not aware of it. I was thinking that when they did make changes with their program though, I could just load the live web pages directly into BV to edit them. Is this true?

Yes and no. You can always load live pages into BV but they will sometimes then need to be adjusted to get back to where you want them.
