Now i understand , it must be exactely 800 pixels , i thought it is ok if it is under 800 .

It is ok, if it is under 800, but the page width must be also set to that lower number. You can't center if the set page width and the actual content have different values. Or, you leave the page width at 800, but you manually center your content in this 800 width. This will work the same.
