    Font Changes

    The site is MusicGrams4u.com

The text thet I use is Porky's as my main title name. This is fine when I view the page online from my computer, but when others get on the site the font is New Times Roman. Does anyone know how or why this is happening?

Yes, do a search for web friendly fonts, then everyone has these fonts installed on their computers. If the user does not have that particular font (since it is not a web friendly font) their computer will use their default font, in this case New Times Roman.

Searches can be found here, or on google ...

If you are using it in a banner or a main title you can save it as a gif and then it won't change when you publish ... just right click on the text box and go to text properties. Try it out and this may help with titles and such ... good luck ...

A headline as an image is fine - but a title? I don't suggest that - as you WANT the se's to read your title's. Using a web-friendly font for most text is the best way to go.

You're welcome. There are good uses for images - but you have to be careful about using them for text that you want to have be readable by all.
