What is Layer Manager in BV?

Can anyone tell me what's is function of the layer manager in BV?

May I know how to use it and it's advantages?

Hi, layers are a handy way to place text & images on top of each other & also make them transparent. You can place as many images & text on top of each other to build up layers to make nice looking collages & nice looking headings to your pages. I was playing with a mini sample on this page. http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/layers.html This was just using BV’s Banner maker & 2 layers on the right hand side of the screen.
