  • Adding a video player

    I've been wondering if there is a way to put a video player on my site. For example, I want to put an FLV player, and then have a list of videos to choose from. When someone clicks a video, it plays on the FLV player.

    1)How do I put this on my site?
    2)How would I make the list of videos play on the player?
    3)Would the person watching it need FLV player on their computer?

    Re: Adding a video player

    1) Probably by inserting some html code into a html block

    2) That would depend on the player you are using

    3) No, they most likely wouldn't need the specific player, but they will need flash installed on their browser.

    I used a flash player from this website http://tufat.com/category14.htm on one of mine. They are very inexpensive ($5 USD), are look very professional. Hope that helps

    PS. If you use something like quicktime, divx, windows media player (which may or may not allow you to use .flv files), then the user will need to download the player to view the video

    Register/Login Script
    Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script

      Re: Adding a video player

      I guess it's not such a big deal that I can't put it in. They take up way too much space. Pages would take decades to load.

      Is Html possible here? Here it is, don't know if it'll work.

      <body>
      <b><i><times>Click on me to visit my site<b/><i/><times/>
      <a href=index.html>
      <img src="100_1433.JPG" align=left width=200 height=200 border=1 alt="go to my site">
      <body/>
