    Julie,
    "http://" shows because you don't have any alternate text for that particular link.
    As to the non-working link, doublecheck spelling and file. Example, if you saved with uppercase D, then link to ...Developments.html. Sometimes little things are often overlooked.

      Re: Please help again with nav bar url

      Thanks Bill2006 but I've checked and I do have alternate text. The page issaved as 'Plans' (capital P) and the URL in the navigation is ./Plans.html
      The other 3 links on the bar are all of the same format, for example the link to'contact us' is ./contact_us.html

      Have you anyother ideas?

      Julie

        Re: Please help again with nav bar url

        Look again Julie,
        You don't have a link. This is what you have on that page for the NavBar, you linked About Us correctly, however you didnot establish a link for View Plans (see bold). Insert ..../Plans.html.
        Also, check your options on navigating, on some pages you selected _self on others you chose _blank. Not consistent and can be distracting to visitors some of whom may leave.

        ....href="./about_cyprus.html" target="_blank"><img id="bv01017" src="bv01017.gif" alt="About Cyprus" title="About Cyprus" align="top" border="0" width="152" height="29" onmouseover="SwapImage(1,0,'bv01017','bv01017_over .gif')" onmouseout="SwapImage(0,0,'bv01017','bv01017.gif') "></a></td>
        </tr>
        <tr><td height="8"></td></tr><tr>
        <td align="left" valign="top" width="152" height="29"><a href="
        id="bv01082" src="bv01082.gif" alt="http://" align="top" border......

          Re: Please help again with nav bar url

          Julie: When I place my mouse over Plans, I see http:/// (3 slashes instead of 2 which ususally indicates the rest of the url is missing or not correct). 1st check your nav bar url again and make sure you have it as http://www..pxmcyprus.com/Plans.html. (with just 2 slashes and double check your up and lower case.) Then also while you are there, make sure your title and alternate text are ok. It looks to me though, that the problem lies with the url in the nav bar for Plans!

          oops..Bill beat me to the punch, so now you have a few things to check!

            Bill
            Thanks for the info on self, blank etc, will sort that out when I've sorted this one.
            Thanks also for your help, maybe its me but I can't really follow. In the Nav bar I have typed and retyped the following for the'view plans' button http://www.pxmcyprus.com/Plans.html

            The other buttons just say ./contact_us.html (for example) which I had for the Plans page, so I changed it for the above and it still doesn't work. By the way, how did you get the info that you showed me on your last post, I can see the bold info, but don't know were that is.
            Please help me again if can
            Thanksin advance
            Julie

              Re: Please help again with nav bar url

              Hey Julie: Well, if you have checked and double checked the url in your nav menu, and it is typed as http://www.pxmcyprus.com/Plans.html and you have re-published it as well as published your Plans.bvp page, then it should be there. I can bring up your Plans.html page by putting in the url directly to that page. So the problem is in your Navigation menu. I notice that you are not using the same nav menu on each page. Are you trying to update the nav menu on each page individually. That can be alot of work, but most people start out that way. So what I would do at this point is to create one Nav menu and copy and paste it onto your other pages. Make sure that all the blanks are filled in correctly and then republish each of your pages. Also, just so you know, you should name your pages in all small letters and not use capitals. so your plans page should be http://www.pxmcyprus.com/plans.html.

              Your Edit page for this particular nav button line should look like this: (If you want the Plans page to open up in another browser window then select _blank as the target)

              To see the html code that Bill mentions above, when you view your page on the internet, in your browser, select View and the Source Code. It may not mean a lot to you, but those who know what their looking for, can tell you when it's not right, like above.
