FTP access

How do I correct the problem if my computer is not allowing FTP Access?
That is what VH Support says is the problem and that I need to consult a computr technician. However I cannot get to Villahermosa, the capital where the technicians are until the roads are passable again and the threat of Dengue fever and worse are lessened. Can anyone help?

Hey OBO,

Took steam better now, wow! Anyway tried but the items that should be check were and so I called and just offered the guy 200 to come fix it, he came and fifteen minutes later, back in business. Cowards way out but fast.
