viewing web pages on laptop widescreen

    Hi

I noticed last night that my web pages are 'lost' on a widescreen laptop. Do you think the page width would be better 'fluid width' or just centre the page and see lots of white each side. How would I get the page to be 100%?

    Any help please

    Thanks in advance

Hi jack.. Screens come in different sizes... so one way to handle this is to go to page properties, center the page and set a background color that complements your page... Hope that helps Doug

BV doesn't have a "fluid width" option. It's a static builder.

That said, you can determine the width of your pages. If you want no one to have sideways scroll - stay at under 800. If you are ok if a small amount have it (I've changed to this) stay at 1000 or under.

And centering with the colored background (as Doug has recommended) can look good on the sites at any width larger than made.
