    Newbie

I have just published my website and when I get onto the internet and put in my web www.toxicfree4life.com I get some other website info.
I find this difficult and wonder whether other visitors are going to get confused as well. If I had of know this at the time I purchased my domain name I would have chosen one that was not so popular like a .net or .org etcCan someone advise me whether I can change or transfer to another domain name or test my one out for me.
    Cheers

this happened to me too when I was new - what it might be is that you have not named your home page index just index all small letters go to file - save page as - type in index and publish - see if that works

      Re: Newbie

Thanks for that but I have done all that and doubled checked etc.
I don't think it is my web pages as such. If you pull up www.toxicfree4life.com the page is full of other site etc with a search box at the bottom. None of the stuff on that page relates to what I am about. I would like to cancel that domain name and get another one as it will be confusing for all visitors I am picking.

        Re: Newbie

If you are typing in the correct domain name,
exactly as the name you purchased and your main page
is saved and published as index then your site
        should show.

when naming your page call it index,
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT add any extension onto
        the index, then just publish

now your chosen domain name should show up
as your index page in the browser.

        hope this helps

Looks Like you got it sorted Lesley.
The page you were getting before was probably one those advertising pages shown on any Parked Domain until an index page is posted.
