Re: not able to locate fonts

I'd say the first thing to do is to make sure the font isn't corrupted or missing. You can do that by opening up your regular word processor and searching for the font from there. Also, BV doesn't alphabetize fonts as other Windows programs do, so make sure you carefully check the entire BV fonts list.

If you can't find the font on your computer, re-install it from where you first got it, or find a good font that you like.

    Hope this helps.

Re: not able to locate fonts

      Hi,

Fonts has nothing to do with BV.

Blue Voda only display whatever fonts that are installed in your computer.

Click start on your Pc goto "Control Panel" and select "Fonts" and you will be available to view all the fonts installed in your Pc.

If it is not there, then you will have to install the fonts.

A word to the wise. It is best to use internet friendly fonts for your webpages otherwise you may find the fancy fonts used, changed to default fonts when viewed online by other computers.

Zuriatman is correct .. you can find free fonts here

Download free fonts for Windows and Mac. Browse categories such as calligraphy, handwriting, script, serif and more. New fonts added daily.

You can convert an unfriendly font into a .gif image directly in blue voda by right clicking your text and choosing properties and then ticking convert this text to an image ..

You will need to be careful of any text that you do apply this method to as search engines do not read images .. so you wouldn't necessarily want to do this for your page headings or important keywords on your page ..

            Thanks Holly for the links.

I can also do with a few more new selections for my own use.

A fun thing to do is use freaky fonts to creater a banner in bv. Once you have it done open it in another window. Take a screen shot and paste in Irfanview. Then crop the banner to size! You now have a picture/banner and you can use it on any page. This also insures the font will work for everyone because it is a pciture, not an actual font :)
