Link and Hyperlink Button

Hi, I am using BV version 10.1 my hyperlink button seems to be faded out, and on the menu, I cannot seem to find any other link, besides the hyperlink style sheet. I have not published any of my pages as of yet, does this mean I cannot get these link buttons until I publish? I am almost ready to publish though. I have been trying to add an e-mail link to my contact page.

The link button will be "faded out" inactive until you give it something that needs a link. For example for text menus, highlight the text and the link icon will become active. For buttons double click on them and enter the links through the properties wndows. same can be done to link images, shapes, etc. You add your limks to the pages before you publish but until you actually publish the pages you want to link to they will not work.
