When I click "text" in BV website bldr. nothing happens. Cannot insert text box in a new page. Help!

Do you mean that when you click on the text icon, you don't see anything appear on your page?
Under 'Options', do you have the 'Do not show initial text' option ticked? If this is ticked, an empty text area will appear on your page - which you may miss seeing.
If this isn't the problem, have you tried loading in BV again? -

When you click the Text icon, you then must click on the page and create the text box by holding the left mouse button down and moving it to the right. You can resize the width as you go.Comment

Sometimes it really IS hard to see! My little text box once hid in a picture for hours ... ;o)
