Can't get rid of extra '>' symbol

On upper left corner of page http://www.specialties-distributors.com/biobags.html you will see a > symbol that's not supposed to be there.

The other pages (more or less redy for uploading) don't show it and since this is the only page with a 'mouseover' tooltip (i.e. dimensions of product) I am believe that extra symbol was introduced with the pertinent javascript.

I entered the entire page source into JSLint and it doesn't show any orphaned > error.

    Suggestions anyone?

Tried above URL in IE 7 and it doesn't work at all but works fine in Firefox....so I suppose that extra little '>" is part of a bigger problem and only Firefox users can help me out of that one.

Firefox is rendering it in quirk mode and erroring out in red your coding issues. Its the java script tool tip that you have rendered or copied incorrectly. Youve 1.) picked up some incorrect formatting from your copy and paste or 2.) Lost part of the code, which is indicated by the orphaned bracket.

Copy and paste first to note pad then to your html box or java script box, or the between headtags. Its rendered some pretty strange FONT codes in your view source and this is why it WONT view in IE. IE cant fix the errors sufficiently.

        Hi Karen,

Thanks for prompt reply. Unfortunately FF 3.0.5 doesn't show anything quirky on my machine except, of course, the 'spare' > symbol. I am so accustomed to FF that it never occurred to me to check that particular page with IE so I spent quite some time on it without noticing anything odd.

Anyway, you say "..... erroring out in red your coding issues....." How, where do you see the red coding errors. Did you use something like JSLint?

No.. I used Firefox tools, Viewed the page information as well as the view source. Firefox says its running quirk mode, The view source shows the rendered invalidated codes in red.

In either case.. you need to delete the javascript and redo it.
