Do I need to use the text in blue voda to show up in the search engines or can I create a nice business name in a graphics program? I want to make gold metal lettering with a shadow. Thanks Jeannie

You can create logos, banners and images from any program you want. Search engines dont care, they look for so much more. You should research search engines and what they look for and you will know what your site needs.

Remember to not make your whole site out of images as the SE's have to have something to read. Also name your images well & give them a descriptive alt tag.
