    help with shapes please

question: why do shapes OTHER than squares or rectangles appear to have 'jaggedy' edges? AND is there anything I can do to make the edges smooth

    thanks in advance, Kt

Must admit they are not always great. But with some shapes, have the hight & width the same & with others one dimension should be half the other. You will have to play, but don't expect to much with curves.

I would suggest creating your shapes, printing page to paint, saving as bmp and then using PIXresizer to save to GIF. This has worked for me, bit of manual process, but it looks better.

Thank you both for your responses, I'll tinker around with them and see what I can do.

          Hi Again.

I dont know on what version of BV you are, im running v.10.1

When you right-click a shape, select properties. Under Fill effects, tick the box anti-alias... This will make the edges smooth.
