    Publishing to subdomain

I have an add on domain (www.ovariancystshealed.info) & I created a subdomain within this (chocolatecysts.ovariancystshealed.info)

    The document root is public_html/chocolatecysts

Does this mean that when I am saving and publishing pages for this subdomain, that I publish them to this folder (public_html/chocolatecysts) rather than to public_html/chocolatecysts.ovariancystshealed.info?

Does the subdomain need to have an index page of it's own?

Sorry for my ignorance, subdomains are all a bit new to me. Any help appreciated.

    Re: Publishing to subdomain

As far as I know, yes, the subdomain needs to have an index page of its own.

If it's an addon domain (as you said) and not your primary VH domain name, you don't publish to public_html/chocolatecysts

    You publish to: public_html/ovariancystshealed.info/chocolatecysts

(When you save the pages for chocolate cysts - just make a folder in your BV file on your hard drive, and save them there (inside your ovariancystshealed folder is probably best) ) :)
