Website changes position on Explorer and Firefox!

    Hi Guys,

I am in the process of developing a new website. The domain is http://www.sixfigureincomesystem.com.au

When using Firefox the website is aligned correctly. When using Internet Explorer one of the Banners moves down and to the right (and also the opt in form).

I prefer Firefox but the majority of people still use Internet Explorer. How can I fix this problem so both browsers display the same site?

    Thanks heaps,

    Brad :o)

You have to experiment with your spacing. The different browsers render the paragraph and element spacing differently.

Thanks Karen but I am not sure what you mean? The website page is very basic with one large image, one small image with links, a you tube video and a html box with an opt in form. How can I vary the spacings?

      Cheers,

      Brad

Hi Brad .... I notice firefox tends to drop down a bit compared to internet explorer .. so what you will need to do is position your elements on the page and then take a turn viewing in each browser so they position correctly for both internet explorer and firefox .. avoid the overlapping as does your content in the html box .. those are usually the worst to position properly .. so you will just need to move that about a bit to set in position on your page for both browsers.

          Thanks for the reply LadyEye!

This makes things very difficult! I have got a basic image for the main page and have then placed a html box on top to include the Aweber Opt In Form Code. It looks perfect on Firefox and if I rearrange things to suit Internet Explorer then Firefox isn't right! I am not aware of any other ways to do this?

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Surely there is an easier solution?

okay, it can be done .. I had first thought that you may have to chop up your image, but you won't need to with careful placement .. have a look and see if this page fits correct in your browsers ..
