News home page

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area. i'm still working on layout and stuff.
Question: ok for my home page i wanted it to be just my news area that i can keep updated. now is there a way to do that in BV or would i be better off using word press (some of my friends do). dont want it to make my pages long i'd like it to be kind of like an iframe , scrolling.

yes you can do an iframe and then just add new pages or you can do a blog

You could use a more SE friendly way if its just for text by using a "text area box" that's in the forms area of BV. If you use this? its worth adding this disabled="disabled" in the html area under "inside tag". This will disable anyone messing with the text. (It would always go back to normal on page refresh) but looks a bit more professional.

oh just one more question .. if i do use the form box for text (coz thats all its gonna be simple text) , to update it do i just go to that bv file edit it and re publish it ?

ok chris as i've been typing up my website and stuff out , i was wondering when you use it this way , does the page have to be php like other forms or will it be fine html?

ok tried on my moms.. looks same on IE on hers but its normal in firefox >.<

Then i can only assume there is something else interfering with the text area.
It works fine at my end with IE,FF,Opera,G/Crome.
