When I published my website and viewed it ---it appeared to be just as I created. However when others (whom are not in my house or on my computer) view text on top of text. I am using the blue voda website builder. The website in question is www.stevifirstbaptistchurch.com

You should use only web friendly font when enter text only. you can make it a image when publishing but the quality is not as good.
Check web safe fonts Here

Though if you are doing a main text like in your header you could use the font by making an image to start with like i have done in my site.
