Question About Dedicated IP Address??

I'm working on a membership site with the goal of having about 500 to 1000 members. Is there an advantage to having a Dedicated IP address over just the regular one with Voda Host for a membership site?

Because Voda Host now offers unlimited band width - can it handle a membership site with say 100's of peole accessing the site at once?

Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be much appreciated.

It depends what this membership site does. If its like myspace.. then you will need a DEDICATED SERVER.

A dedicated ip is used more for encyrption and shopping carts.
