I keep hearing about this counter icon in the CP, but I can't see it anywhere....is it something I need to sign up for??

it is in the control panel, under the subheading LOGS .. you should be able to see the icon and its name there .. check down the very bottom of the page and ensure you are viewing all boxes ..

OK, I have now seen something called cPanel. I now assume you are not talking about the BV user control panel. Is the cPanel what I need to install? Do I need it for anything else other than a counter? From what I've read on it, it isn't something a person with one little website would need, correct? Thx...

Your cPanel is an essential part of your website. You can reach your cPanel by clicking on the link at the bottom of the BlueVoda screen and using your username and password (given to you in your welcome email) to get in.

There are cPanel video tutorials to check out--very helpful stuff.
