Adding sub navigation bar buttons

I am redesigning our website using Bluevoda. I have created the homepage with 12 navigation bar buttons. I want to add subs to these 12. How do you accomplish that?

I dont know about old BV ( 10.2 ) but in new one you can select Navigation Bar, make a link, then click on that item only once, and then click " Add " button.

I don't think you can do it with the 'navigation' buttons, I can only create subs with the 'slide menu' or 'menu bar', I have tried lots of times and failed using the items called 'Text menu' and 'Navigation'.
