I have linked to pdf's lots of times which isn't a problem because they are generally quite small.
I am helping a guy out here where he has a site where you can download comics - you may have seen his site.
The problem is these comic files pdfs are massive ranging from anywhere between 10mb and 42mb. It seems anything up to 20mb will link and open fine - although a bit slow. The 42mb one, the internet or browser refuses to open it. It shows a page not found. I know its their because I personally uploaded it.
Rather than link directly to a pdf, I have seen before where you can download something, a dialogue box will open give you the option to open the file or save it. Can someone help me and explain how I do this as I think it will lend itself better to these huge pdfs.
Thanks in advance
