hi i have just installed the new bv 11.4, i am unsure if it has worked, how will i be able to tell the difference from what i have previously been using as at the moment it looks the same. many thanks

To confirm that this is the updated builder. Open it > click help > about BlueVoda and it will tell you which version it is.

Is this what you mean?

hi thanks for that great tip i tried it and it says im now on version 11. i have now read that theres 11.4 should i update it again.

No need to download again!
We have asked the BV boffin's for this before, & requested that the to have the version number updated on the BV About us tab & on the BV page's meta tag's so we can comment on a problem with the knowledge of knowing what version the customer is using. IE:
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Created by BlueVoda 11.4G">
But with no luck as yet.
