element editing can't be saved

When I try to add a drop down menu to the new site I'm constructing, I can't click 'save' because the window is so large the save option is below my taskbar! There is no way to make the editing box smaller. My monitor is on factory settings.
Also, when I preview the page I see that everything is larger than in my BV window.

Lmack, it is hard to follow what u r trying to explain....try giving us a link to ur page.
Which "save" r u talking about and the the "taskbar"? My windows taskbar is at the bottom of my screen...r ur menus that large?

The edit box is that large! The 'save' button is behind the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. I have moved my taskbar to the side of my screen and can just barely get to the button now. But it seems odd.
