what else can i use?
mmmm, well i use the ligth box but it seems like i need to do something different with the pics is there anytihing else that i can use with the vodabuilder for the pictures like the ozio gallery with joomla?

This will depend on the template you use.
But there are a few posts on using jalbum on this forum.
You can use it as a stand alone image gallery on the jalbum site & link to it.
You can make an album using the software & upload it to your VH server & use an i-frame to have it show on your page.
But i would get used to the jalbum 1st & how it all works.
