    Design Issue

    domain is: www.proventoworkfromhome.info
Some of my pages won't center horizontally even though I have selected that they do so. Is there a way to fix this?

      Re: Design Issue

      I am getting a:

      Index of /

From the link provided by you.

The first page you publish to public_html must be named "index" only for your address to be found.

The above shows you do not have an index page?

This is one of the pages that won't center.

Can you tell me why code appears in the form on this page?

As indicated earlier, you have not yet actually published a page of your Blue Voda website to a VodaHost server (a hosting account required) let alone have properly published an index page (which must be the first page you publish).

Although you can "proof" your page design using PREVIEW in Blue Voda, links to other pages and some other functions are not fully activated until actually Published: since there are no pages to go to as they are not published --- there is nothing real to go to if not published, yes?

You can continue to fully design your website, and when you are done, simply purchase a hosting account with VodaHost and Publish your pages quickly and with confidence!

I do have a hosting account and have published several pages including an index page but nothing links together. I have tried deleting all my files and starting over with the publishing. I did the index first and then several other pages and none of them link together. Please can you tell me what is wrong? I don't know why you all keep telling me to get a hosting account when I have one and have published files.

Your links look fine, but rather than waste time checking every page and every link, why don't you simply list a few of your published pages that are unavailable via hyperlinks that are seen on your index page?

Let's narrow this down right here and now ...

                >> When I use your hyperlinks, it goes to an empty Account Index, as if there are no published pages to link to.

                >> Second problem (mentioned/asked above repeatedly) .... you SAVED and PUBLISHED a page called "home" rather than as "index" .... your very first page of your website must be SAVED and PUBLISHED as index, all in lower case letters, and nothing else.

                1. In Page Properties, give your index page a title, and fill out some of the basic META (Page author, description, key words, etc.).
                2. SAVE AS index, and re-publish immediately.
                3. You will have to go back and also correct your HOME link to simply http://www.proventoworkfromhome.info and that is all.
                4. Re-publish all pages with corrected link back to proper index (your HOME link should simply be http://www.proventoworkfromhome.info )

Once the true page heirarchy has been properly corrected, your links should work fine --- they inherit Styles from the first page they were created on, but cannot if the page was not properly established according to strict method. Double-check each link Style on individual pages to be sure they remained intact once you corrected the HOME link and published the index page to re-associate Styles.

                  Re: Design Issue

I did save it as home the first time but then I deleted everything I published and started over with index as the first published page. I changed all the links on the other pages that originally pointed to "home" and now point to "index". Is that what I am doing wrong. Should I still have a page label "home" and no links pointing to "index"? I have 7 pages published that are linked to the "index" page via the tabs on the index page. They are: contact, extra-services, join, member-directory, order-membership, login. I have tried all of them and get a 404 error with each on. It basically tells me that I have no published pages. When I published them, a pop up window said "successfully published". I am sorry if I sounded rude, I have spent a ton of time on this and am getting nowhere. Frustration is setting in deep. I have watched the tutorials a number of times and just can't get the answers I need. I have emailed support and was told to go thru the forum after they told me to get a host account. I am about ready to give it all up and try another host company. I tried Soholaunch first and didn't like it at all. Please help. Thank you. Kim
