Appcrash

Hi I am having this problem when I am applying menu bar theme. BV stops working and its not responding. Any help with this? Please note that I have tried uninstalling bv and re install. No luck!

I do not think it has anything to do with BV.

The cause may lie in your OS.

Where it says : Problem signature:

It is always a Windows problem.

Hey, Emma --- Ian here with some answers rather than guesses.


It's with the connection on your end (not a "Windows problem").

try this:

Check if you have "limited" connectivity due to ipv6 problems

Go in your Networksettings Properties
Disable ipv6
disable iphelper

Disable the IP Helper service:

1. Hold the Windows key and type R, enter "services.msc" (without the
quotes) and press Enter
2. Scroll down to the IP Helper service, right click on it and select
Properties
3. In the dropdown box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to
Disabled and then click on "Apply"
4. Then click on "Stop" to stop the service from running in the
current session
5. Click OK to exit the dialog



Disable IPv6:

1. Hold the Windows key and type R, enter "ncpa.cpl" (without the
quotes) and press Enter
2. Right click on each network connection and select "Properties"
3. Remove the checkmark from the box next to "Internet Protocol
Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
4. Click OK to exit the dialog

NOTE: You should do this for each network connection.


Anyone can find the answers if they bother to look for them ...

Hi Thank you very much for your time and help. But unfortunately, its not working. I was wondering if BV is compatible with win 7?
Any other help? Whenever I am applying menu bar theme, then its happening then. I can't open BV at all.

I've read Moderators even commenting that BV11 is really "buggy" so I wouldn't doubt there are a lot of people having problems and don't even know how to classify them ...
