    Text insertion problem

i have a yellow background image (.jpg) on the page.

when i add text to the page the text box remains white.

    know what i mean?

The text color is fine but the text box remains white, not transparent with the yellow showing through.

I have a screenshot to email you if you need clarification.

Be sure to set font color in a contrasting color .... apparently you have inadvertantly reset the textbox background color to white as well as the font color, which is why you cannot see the letters apart from the textbox.

      High Vasili

      I did not explain well.

My page background is yellow. When i place a text box and only change the words then the letters stay on the yellow background.

But if i change any thing about the text (font, color or size) the text box background remains white, not transparent.

You are simply not following the process accurately: either you are not highlighting just the words before applying styles, inadvertantly changing the textbox background (the icons are rather close), or some other manual entry issue.

Seriously! There is no way you can change one thing properly but not another: either no changes can be made, or all of them can. Thus rather than the tool itself being at fault, it is the User of the tool operating out of norm ... computers and programs can function in a preset linear fashion only, not arbritrary or illogical.

Try downloading the new BV over your earlier version, just to be sure you have a clean tool at the ready, and then try again minding all the minutia of set methods ....

PS: Often when you accidentally enter a textbox background, it may seem impossible to revert back to the defaulted transparent ("Automatic") ... you'll need to delete the textbox entirely and create another, being careful to avoid engaging the textbox background style icon.
