Need to add to/update doctype definition

Hi all,

I have a plugin to my site that requires me to add to/update the doctype definition on some of my web pages.

I cant find how to open the page in note pad, so as to edit the doctype definition and re save.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

You can't open in Notepad as BV saves the pages in its native format.

If you are a VodaHost customer and have a VH account, publish the page, then edit it through your CPanel file editor. Or download it and open it in Notepad, Save after changed and Upload it again. Please note that each time you update the page in BV and publish again, you will need to repeat the process.

I have a VH account so will try there.
Is there no way to make the edit permanant?
