Updating Multiple Web Pages at Once

    Hello all,

I'm sure this is covered somewhere but I can't seem to find it...

    1) I'm wonder is there a way to make a universal update to every page, or multiple pages to your website in BlueVoda? A specific example is when I first created my site I put a text box at the bottom of my pages for my disclaimer and copyright, but my copyright says 2010. Well, I want to update that to 2010-2011. I realize I probably need to remove this from each page now and post a new footer but in the future I would like to be able to just update this once each year yet have it updated on all of my pages (I have well over a 100 pages now). This would be extremely helpful rather than having to update every single page.

    2) Also, when you have several pages open is there a way is there a way to published the updated pages all at once rather than having to publish each one, one by one?

If it helps, my site is www.themuscleprogram.com. (I have a couple other sites as well and plan on starting a new one geared towards guitar/metal music soon.)

    Hopefully this makes sense!

    Thanks,
    Jason

There is a way that has been explained you could put the menu on each page using PHP, where the menu exist on no pages, but is called up by that php script. To do this, you had to create your menu, save it as a .html page with nothing but the menu in the top left corner of the page. But as I recall, you can save that page on your server under any name. As long as the PHP script had the link to the same named page worked good. I have 2 sites running with this PHP menu call up feature working.

Now why I mentioned that, I may be wrong, but you might be able to do this with this PHP coding, placing it at the bottom of your pages as required. This means you only have update your pages once to get the PHP coding on each page. After that, adding pages or changing your copyright notice, means an update to one page only.

Go search PHP on this forum and see what comes up

Thanks for the advice. I do know that I can use an image as well for my copyright section and anytime I want to change it, I can just modify the image and overright the old one; the new image is updated on all of my web pages the old image is on (I learned this by accident when I was changing one of my banners and overwrote the old one by using the same name; looked on my site and the new banner image had replaced the old).
