Edit drop down menu, what is Lock and unlock for?

I have been with BV for over 3 years and our web site PJMotorsports.com is great and we get great reviews on it.
Periodically I run into items like this. I check on my pages periodicaly and find that the page graphics starts to rearange itself on the page and then the page becomes distorted. So I re publish again and its fine. I was wondering if the lock and un lock in the edit drop down menu (at the top left hand corner) would help lock the page so it won't distort? Or is this for something else.

The issue you describe is browser-based, and has nothing to do with BlueVoda or how your page was published.

Different browsers have different means to process displays, and often keeping your browser updated is a forgotten task. Also think to clean out your browser cache and Temp pages. You should find enhanced performance as a result.
