    password protect some pages

I would like to make a certain section of my website password protected.
I have already tried going into cpanel and password protecting a directory but that
did not make the pages in that directory protected.
How do I make my website ask for a password, help a person register a username and password, etc
    Thanks
    Ray

    Re: password protect some pages

    1. Password-Protecting a Directory will protect ALL pages within that Directory .... navigating away from the Directory after Logon and returning will require submitting a valid Password to access any page once again.

    2. BlueVoda also allows you to Password-Protect a single page within a website (use the Icon in the Toolbar to initiate configuration) while leaving the remainder of the pages within a Directory unprotected.

    3. A third (and more comprehensive) solution is to implement the BlueVoda Login Script outlined and detailed here> BV’s new built in Login system – a brief tutorial.
