    Different Browser viewing problems

What settings in IE or other browsers would jumbo up the view of ones web page? On one machine I veiw my site via firefox and it is fine- on another (after changing nothing) it is mixed up. By the way I am using firefox on a u3 flashdrive to test on other machines.

Interesting problem. In fact- another on this form has experienced the same thing more specific to BV sites. So I pose the question- whats up with that?
    Any insights?

Now in using firefox and viewing several (many)BV sights everything is fine.

    Hey Andy

In IE goto view text size ...largest

I use Firefox as well. If you press ctrl + to enlarge the text, you will quickly see an overlap of text/text or text/images, depending on the site set up.
If you view a site thats 100% html compliant and you do the same thing with fire fox. you will see that the text and images all move and enlarge evenly without any overlaps.

In IE if someone has their settings on view text..size..largest..for example.
if you have a gallery with names...u will see it totally diffrent on IE vs firefox...if you don't account for that when building a page...for example..having a text box right under the gallery...you will see the overlap/mix..

I don't think there's a solution to that in any drag and drop software...but i could be wrong..

      matrixxxxxx-

YOU MY FRIEND ARE A GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem was just that. I was viewing a page in IE and used the Ctrl+Scroll to enlarge the text (not that I'm that old and going blind) and when I went into Firefox- it was all distorted- overlapped etc...

I did the Ctrl+Scroll (after reading your reply) and scrolled it back and -PRESTO!!! All was well.

      Thanks again.

It's good you brought this issue to attention. It's nice for someone just starting their site to know this and take it into consideration.
