Scenario: You have a few pictures in the same folder and they are alphabetically named, e.g. Pic1, Pic2, Pic3, etc.
When you use the Lightbox and you want to select all these pictures from the same folder, you will for example select Pic1, hold the shift key and click on the last Pic6 to select them all or you select Pic1, hold the Ctrl key and click on each picture to select them one by one.
Problem: When you select the pictures like this, you will find that the last picture are normally top of the list in the lightbox and you have to move it down if you need to.
TIP: Once you have opened the required picture source folder, simply press Ctrl+A to select all the pictures in that folder. Click the Open button. You will now find that the pictures are listed alphabetically and you do not have to move any of them.
