D'son ... can you pls help with Jalbum?

    Domain: moorookanimalshelter.com.au

I've read your post on JAlbum (that thread is closed) ... thank you so much for doing that, but I'm still doing something wrong.

You said if you don't put the album in a new folder, eg: slideshows, it takes over the index page. Yep, found that one out !! So within the settings of the album I changed the page to d100269 which is what I wanted the page of the site to be called, & republished my homepage

it works ok, http://www.moorookanimalshelter.com....s/d100269.html , but I noticed on your site mais.....com/boys_allstars.com you didn't need the slideshows folder in between.

How did you do this ? I played with this for hours last night trying to get it right.

Also, some of the skins in JAlbum have banners on the top (some are pay for ones, but that's ok). see the banner I have here: http://www.moorookanimalshelter.com.au - I went to the html generator in blue voda & copied that into where it requested the html code for the banner & it gave me the white rectangle with red cross. (complete html novice)

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here also?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer

    Hi Helen,

There are excellent skins in flash which are free ware and you do not have to pay. Chose those. You can download as many as you want.

    Under Skin and Style
You have all the skin options which you can select to make an album.

Example if you select "Compact"- on the right of the name you will see an icon of a turtle.

Select the icon and an option dialogue window will appear.
On the toolbar you will see:

    General-Pages-Images-Advanced etc.,

This is where you set the settings for the albums.

    I usually remove the Header!

My Favourite is "DPL Ver. 3", "Flip Viewer" and "Photo Stack".

Experiment with all the skins and options first.

Hi Helen sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Did you figure out the problem? If not what is the exact problem you are having? You can also contact me through the marseillesyouthsports site and I will walk you through it. Good luck

        Hi D'son
I too followed the thread which is now closed and found it very easy except.....! how do I put it in BV?
Create a page comme normal? or should it be an i-frame? and then put a link in the page? or just link the navigation bar? and the link to use is that the one on the succesfully published page at Jalbum?
Sometimes I feel so clever when using BV and then so thick !!
        Thanks
        Debbie

OK so I have resolved how to put it in BV. I was missing the /index.html part of the url
Now how do I link for jalbum back to my site without using back on the browser?

You'll need to edit the html for JAlbum. Otherwise use the IFrame option.

In the properties you can add your website and link back to it there. I will have to download the latest version (as they have made many changes) to give you the exact details).
