Has anyone successfully used the Data Storage form maker pro?

I have seen a couple of post in the forum regarding Data Storage in FMP. I started a thread myself and noone seems to know how to resolved the issue.

Does the Data Storage feature of FMP actually work? Has anyone got it working on their site, if so how?

Like other posts I have read I have everything else working fine, in that:

The form is on my site with the right fields,
I get an email with the data to the correct email address when I test the form myself
I can see the fields I want the data for on FMP and in my cPanel database i created
I can even see the ID number showing that it has recognised that a form has been completed....

...but the data entered (ie name, email etc..) is not recorded. I've looked where it should be on FMP and also dug around the MySQL databases on cPanel to no avail.

Anyone actually done this successfully? Any help would be great as I am getting increasingly frustrated.

    Thanks

Yes I have my data storage working. I go to the FMP and log in then I go to data storage and all the information is there. I am not sure where your problem is but I do have mine working. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get more people to the site.

I wish I was more helpful. Sometimes I get things to work but I am not sure how. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get more people to the site.

That is helpful to a certain extent. At least I know it can be done.

I'm going to delete and uninstall all the fmp stuff and redo it. Shouldn't take too long, only a basic form.

If it doesn't work this time i'll through my computer out the window.

I know how you feel about throwing the computer out the window. I wish I had more concrete help. I had to play with it for awhile before it worked. Once I got it to work I have had no problems.
          Good Luck,

Maybe a real pro will answer your call for help.

            It's worked this time.

Having deleted all traces of FMP and repeated the exact process I did before it is now storing the data as god intended.

It's a complete mystery as to why it didn't do it in the first place as I have done nothing different at all this time round and it is working.

My computer is also still in one piece and we have made up...

            until tomorrow

It feels much better when things work!!! LOL. I guess we would not get the great feelings without all the frustration.
