    Formmaker Pro

Hi there, I've spent the last 2 days trying to get Formmaker Pro installed, I've downloaded, uploaded, downloaded uploaded etc. etc. many times over. I've read all of the threads on this about the errors, and presumably because all of the files weren't uploaded properly. The tpl error etc.
I know the database is created properly, and I did change the permissions, on the folder to 755 like instructed. After 2 days though, you would think that I would have a good download and upload.

Can anybody help with this, I'm about at the end of my rope with it?

    Thanx very much, Davin

Hmmm, ok, sure I'll try giving that a go. Thanx a lot. Hopefully I'll have more success with that. Cheers Davin

        Davin
I've been in the same boat for a number of days and now have it working 90%. The missing 10% that will not work and gives me an error is when I try to use Preview and Thankyou pages out of Form Maker - I've done a work around by redirecting to a Thankyou page I setup myself.
One thing I found was that the Forms folder under fmp got the permissions altered on it between setting them initially and after doing the install and removing the install.php.
I found after the install they were changed and i had to re-set them to 755. I manually made sure all the folders were set to 755 and the files within them to 644.
I use FileZilla as an ftp client and did not have an issue with missing files altho' I did a manual check to see that they were all there.

Anyway - maybe something to check - for a "simple" install I've been at it 3 days so simple is obviously relative!
It does work nicely once it's beaten to the ground!

Not relevant to the problem, just a cut in: In my opinion the preview page is not useful. The visitors only sees what he has already on his monitor when he is filling in the form. So what's the use of viewing it again, in a separate page ?
