I Just Completed My Website Of Many Pages
I Also Tried To Make Along With The Navigation Bar One For Contact Us
So When I Click On It Opens Up The Form & Tried To Submit It Says
HTTP 404 Error Not Found
Please Can Some One Have Look At It

I tried your form out and received a 404 when I should have got an error page and also a 404 when I correctly submitted the information. I would guess the problem is either:

you have named your error/thank you pages incorrectly (either the page themselves or the link to them in the script) OR

you may have published them to the wrong directory.

These are the first things I would check.

When submitting your form, thats when the 404 comes up.....

Did you save your form page as PHP (page properties-file extension = php) ??

And Yes I Saved The Page As PHP And Its Published In Public_HTML Directory,Does The Contact Page (form) Also Needs To Be In PHP?
Or Html?& The Code(inside the body) Given Below The Tutorial Also Needed To Be On The Contact Page?
So What Am I Suppose To Do Know?
Any Help Will Be Appreciated.

I named the page as thank_you,& As php,also put the code in side the body. published in public_html.

So Where am i wrong?

The thank_you page, with the script in it, should be published as php. An the form action should then become "thank_you.php" and not "action.php"

Ok. Yes when You said that it should become "thank_you.php"
I Checked in the ftp manager and yes its published as You say
But i tried to publish again the "contact page" in html ext &thank_you page in php ext.still when i click the submit button it says "http404 error"
contact page properties Title "Contact"

Form : Name "Contact Form"
Action "action.php"
Method "Post"
Ecoding type " Multipart Form-data"
code put inside the body tag of the html page

finally i had to change the page from thank_you.php to action.php and publish it.
